Schedule Generate Playlist function on version 3 2 5 377
« on: October 20, 2009, 04:10:21 AM »
Hi there

I have tried to use the schedule generate playlist function, but cannot get it to work properly.

In the playlist generator, I have set up several templates, with easy names - eg: James, James 2 etc. Each template is designed to give me enough music for an hour.

In the Scheduler I type: generate James, and then set the time I want it to play. I then make sure that the "Remove previous schedule from the playlist" option is not ticked. Here's what happens:

* at the scheduled time, only one song is inserted into the playlist
* the previous playlist is then removed from the main screen (like I told it not to!).

Wondering what I'm doing wrong.

Admittedly, I notice that when I open the generator, there is a one song template that opens automatically. Can't get rid of it. Perhaps Radio Boss is using that to create the playlist each time.

Thanks for your help

Hello!

It's a bug in RadioBOSS (as you noticed, the playlist generator fails to load a correct preset - that's the problem). Will be fixed in the next release soon.
