I switched the Lexicon Alpha to an M-Audio Fast Track card as a test and got the same results - RC works fine but RL still freezes on connect and log off. Could it have something to do with the two programs simultaneously accessing the same soundcard on the same computer?

Switching both to WASAPI fixed the issue with Radio Caster, but Radio Logger still stalls on connecting and logging off.

The remote computer is windows 10. The audio source for both programs is Lexicon Alpha USB Device and both are configured as sound card source input, driver/direct sound device/Lexicon Alpha with 44100 sample rate.
