Hi

can I request a couple of improvements to the Database pleae

1. Add a field (standard Tag I believe) for "Composer"
2. A user defined "Genre" field so that we can quickly select a genre

1) Yes, I think the Composer field will be included as a standard tag field like "artist", "title" and others. Most file tag systems already have those fields in the format specification.

2) About Genre, could you please give more info? Do you request a drop-down box for Genre field in the search?

thanks for considering including the "Composer" tag - we are supposed to submit the composer of a song to PRS !

As far as the Genre is concerned, I would Like to tag a song with a genre from a list I have pre-defined. therefore I would add the genres

Pop
Rock
country
Nostalgia
Rock & Roll
etc

which I can select for each song in the database. Hopefully in a future release of Playlist Generator Pro I can then simply use this field so that I can quickly create a "themed" show

OK. Something like this already done for the "Language" field in the TrackTool, so I think it's possible to do the same for Genres.
