Hey Dmitry, we have an account through BlogTalkRadio, but we want to simulcast the broadcasts at the same time we go live.  How do I set it up in RadioBOSS for the archives and the LIVE shows?

Can you please give more information on what you want to do?

I want to be able to take the podcasts we do on BlogTalkRadio and air them on Indie Radio Network at the same time through RadioBOSS.  So let's say we do a live show from 5-7pm on Sunday nights.  We want to be able to broadcast through RadioBOSS from 5-7pm at the same time the show is live without having to literally go to the show address to pick up the stream.  If I go to the stream and hit mic, I'm talking on BlogTalk Radio and RB at the same time.

I use Voice Meeter to do that, or you can use VAC to do all that your choice to use whatever  man or download the mp3 and play it on your radio, which is easier and better. Just to let you know you can use Voice Meeter or VAC and bring everyone on the radio at the same time you record your episode I also believe there is a record feature in Radio Boss so you can record straight from Radio Boss and then upload later.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I have professional audio that eliminates the vac feature, but I will definitely have to look into that.  I can do the downloading of the episode, then convert it to 128k and air it that way, but I think the only way to do it live is to do it off my studio.

Well, its either that or use a mixer those are your only ways to do so, and Radio Boss can't do anything about your setup just to let you know also I am not trying to be arrogant just letting you know that is way I do stuff so yeah I hope I helped you or gave you good advice.

I have a mixer through professional audio, but if I have no way of playing the file live through RadioBOSS, I have to do it through the site or the studio we use to broadcast the show.

Prerecord the mp3 as you do it live that's how everyone  does look at The steel cage for example, all mp3 even on itunes all mp3 for real. Also anything on your radio is prereorded and has set dates to air and live is usually prereorded no joke or streamed live on justin tv/Vaughnlive. Also mp3 makes it easier to archive and back up for other to hear.

BlogTalkRadio does all that for us, but I would like to be able to have it played on the station at the same time the show is going on and have it switch over to the next file when the show is done.  This way all of our prgrams are aired live at the same time.  When I tried to put in the http address for the actual show, it wouldn't pull it up.

Your best bet is a mixer program like vac or voice meeter that can bering you people in via skype if you use that if not, then just prerecord every thing in radio boss and save it out and then upload it and stuff. ;D ;D ;D

Duh, I didn't think about Skype since I have to call in through Skype anyway, and then set my audio to run off my line input and it should broadcast.  Never thought of that.  VAC don't work with this audio because I'm running $300 professional studio audio, not onboard.

Vac will work you just need to set your mixer to a line and bam my buddy has a mixer, and it works he also did it with Voice Meeter yup. But I would try skype and put is on a seperate channel and try to bring it in that way you cna mute it if you need to and also you can end call if you get idiots on there that call in to your radio lol.

I said that you can use your mixer and put it on a line that would your studio program correct?

Yep, which I can do through Skype since my line in and mic is the same thing.  Then if I'm not hosting, I can run it from the site.  Good points!  Didn't think about that.

You never stream to radio from the site never you always prerecord and play mp3 that's just not proper, but if you wanna do that, then go for it.

Was there any error code when you tried to play it? What http link does BlogTalkRadio provides - it is a stream or podcast? You can post a link here so we can take a look.

It's a podcast.  With BlogTalk Radio though, it pulls up an ad, then starts your show automatically, and when I put the address of that episode into the event, it would go for about 30 seconds, then pull up the error for invalid file.  The link we're given is http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork  That is our main page where our episodes show up, and if we want a certain episode, then we type in the episode number, date, and so forth after that address.

Here was when it first started.

01:00:01;scheduler;"Schedule: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork/2014/04/05/who-wants-to-be-a-social-entrepreneur podcast #0";"http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork/2014/04/05/who-wants-to-be-a-social-entrepreneur podcast #0"
01:00:07;;"[1]  http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork/2014/04/05/who-wants-to-be-a-social-entrepreneur podcast #0";"http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork/2014/04/05/who-wants-to-be-a-social-entrepreneur podcast #0";"<TRACK IDENT="""" ARTIST=""http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork/2014/04/05/who-wants-to-be-a-social-entrepreneur podcast #0"" TITLE="""" ALBUM="""" YEAR="""" GENRE="""" COMMENT="""" FILENAME=""http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork/2014/04/05/who-wants-to-be-a-social-entrepreneur podcast #0"" DURATION=""??:??""  PLAYCOUNT=""1"" INTRO=""0.00"" />"

And this was the result.

01:00:34;error;"Unable to play! Error code =  2 (unable to open the file/invalid server address).";

I also had the same problems when I put in just the address without the podcast info after it.

You should add URL
Code:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieradionetwork.rss
and check the Podcast checkbox.

This way it should play the latest podcast from your channel.
