Scheduled Task Option

I attempted to use the scheduled task as shown.  I thought it would play the oldest played track from the defined folder.  However, it repeatedly played the newest (most recently played) track.

I am running RB 5.6.2.0 and I am using File Tag (APEv2)

This command selects the oldest (based on file creation date, as recorded in the system) track from the folder. If folder contents do not change, then it will select the same file.

Personally, I do not see much value in this option.  I do see a lot of value if it were to be based on oldest played date.

The "getfile" command mostly used for automatic, one-off announcements. Usually it's used with the "Delete file after playback" option. In this case, it will select the oldest file, play it, delete, on the next run it will select another file (because previous oldest file is deleted), etc.
