Sweeper problem

In 6.2.3.2 sweeper is not working smoothly. It fades just before the event but then suddenly reverts to full volume for a fraction of a second before playing the next event. This sounds really bad!

Does it happen always or only occasionally?
 
It seems to happen quite often but not every time. Could it happen if the sweeper falls short and for a fraction of a second the level returns to full volume? Is it related to the direction of the fade parabola?
