Hey Djsoft

when i tried to turn on my new shoutcast v2 server hosting

on your new radioboss.fm site

it did not turn on for me at all

can you fix it please

thanks

Wow! I was surprised this new service!.
expected sometime this inclusion Wonza a server?
AAC to transmit and it can be possible to play the radio Through an integrated flash player on my website.
perhaps in the future, a stat would be helpful.
desert but I can not ask much and that is just in beta
whether to include these features, when released I will subscribe safely  :D

Including Wowza will raise the service prices, which I don't like to happen, at least for now...

You can already broadcast AAC (select AAC+ in RB encoder), it works fine. I hope your flash player will handle it with no problem.

Hey Djsoft

I have a request to add

my request is that you should add in a booking timestable service

so people can book timeslots on the shoutcast servers that they buy on your new service

thanks

ok, but I have understood that to run all flash players that play streaming in aac, require a transcoder rtmp

on the cost per server Wonza my current provider did this:
Wonza server installation cost $ 50 USD (One Time) + streaming service cost (Monthly)

jPlayer http://www.jplayer.org/ - they state their player can play AAC streams.

$50 Wowza package has some limitations, and as I remember for public hosting $1000 package required. And it will also require additional setup and configuration. Perhaps we'll do it in the future, for now I think the Shoutcast does its job well enough.

Strange... Probably something's wrong with the database. Please try registering again.

Same thing this morning: on the web page!
Code:
An error occured

Activation error. Please contact support@djsoft.net

Christian

The problem located... For some weird reason, in database, the limit for e-mail address was 32 characters, while your e-mail is longer. It's fixed now.

Ok, the encoder is now connected but the stream URL for listening from the interface does not work. I get a 404 error in winamp. The URL is : http://s1.radioboss.fm:9084/stream/1/

Christian

That's because you connected as Shoutcast v1 source, while hosting works in ShoutCast v2 mode only.

Copy-paste the settings from the Account page to RadioBOSS. In particular, you have to specify the stream ID in Server, eg.
s1.radioboss.fm:9084,1

It's when I setup as "Public" server. When "Private" I can listen.
The issue is that I cannot login to the administration side to register to Shoutcast to create the Authhash!

OK, thanks. This will be fixed in the future, and admin password will be published in the Account page.
