Best Practices for using Media Library

Hello,
Our radio station has been using Radio Boss for almost a year and we've been relatively happy. I like the automation features, but we're finding that managing the playlists and keeping them fresh is rather time consuming. Are there best practices anyone would be willing to share on how to keep playlists up-to-date. For example, it would be nice if there were a "quick" way to categorize songs as heavy rotation, medium rotation, low rotation, nostalgia, etc.

Any tips would be helpful.
Thanks

It depends on how fresh music is added, how you generate playlists etc.

One of the ways is to categorize music in folders (hard/medium/low rotation) and use playlist generator pro to generate playlists based on this folders.

Thanks. That's a good idea. Is there a way to move music files to different folders from Media Library (for example moving a song from heavy rotation to medium when it gets older), or does that have to be done manually and then re-added into the Music Library (and all metadata re-entered)?

Playlist generator pro can use folder contents directly, so there's no need to create music libraries at all if you just want to generate playlists. Yes - tracks have to be moved manually.

When you add tracks to music library, you don't need to reenter metadata if it was entered before. Metadata is stored inside the music files in a special tag.
