I have found tracklists very useful for programming radio serials in an ordered series (eg episode 1 to 50 with one episode per week say).  However I remain confused about the difference between "in order" and "series".  The former works fine and increments each episode as required increasing from 1 to 50 when each event is played  Can you explain how the "in series" option can be used and why it is needed? 

When you use "In order" it automatically advances the position, so there's no easy way, for instance, to repeat the same episode several times a day. When you use the "Series" option, there's no auto advance and you need to manually tell it to move on to the next episode, e.g. at the end of the day.
