It is possible that in the hot keys, (which stop working if you click on the tag window or in the browser)
be assigned permanently, for example F12 or some unusual one, like F20 to always assign to the MICROPHONE?

Hot keys are temporarily deactivated when you focus edit field, as you don't need mic to be activated when you search for Madonna, for instance.
