voice tracks begin playing after intro if recorded during live show

Although this topic has been mentioned before, I couldn't find the thread where that had taken place, so I'll mention this here. There are times when it would be nice to voice track some portions of live shows, especially where I may need to step away for a few minutes. At present I cannot get voicetracks to work as advertised unless radioboss is stopped while the voicetracks are being recorded/inserted.
Any time a voice track is inserted while radioboss is playing, 1 of 3 things happen.
If there is no intro defined, the voicetrack begins at the same point that the song below it starts.
If a track is playing with an outro, followed by one with no intro present, radioboss also begins a simultaneous playback of the voicetrack and the song with o intro
Finally, if there is a defined intro, the voicetrack begins after that point, which steps on the vocal.

It does not matter if I had already defined the intro and outro points during the show, or some time earlier, the behavior is the same.

Using the segue editor is the best approach if you want to implement changes live. Just add the voice track as a regular track where it's needed and call the Segue Editor to position it.

Hopefully this changes because the segue editor is necessary to position tracks created when radioboss is stopped, and, as of this post, the segue editor is not usable with a screen reader. I'll address that in another thread.

Segue Editor can be used "live" with some limitations. But yes, with screen reader it's not really useful in its current state.

I've discovered more ways to trigger this problem.
First of all, It turns out that I can add voice tracks during a live show, just as long as the voice track is not placed at the end of the currently playing song. As long as I stay ahead of the playlist by one song, everything should be fine. However, even this is easily upset because moving any file in the playlist, and then cutting/pasting the voice tracks where they should be, creates the scenario where they begin after the intro, rather than before or during it.

Do you insert it after the playing track, or it's in some other position?

The new song is added after the currently playing song, the voice track is moved down so that it is back to its proper place where it can introduce the song I would have otherwise played, and that breaks things.
