How much is it out of sync? AFAIK seeking/positioning in an mp3 file is not very accurate, mp3 consists of frames so precision may be limited to one frame. Still, it's under 5 milliseconds or so I guess. You can try converting the same file to WAV and see if it performs better. But technically...

An update on this, the Playlist Generator does correctly process Start, End and Mix markers if they are set in Track Tool (it doesn't matter if all are set or only some of them, what is set, is taken into account). That is, track duration, as well as overlap amount, is correctly calculated.

The Voice Insert is mostly a manual feature, to allow adding voiceovers where they are needed, while Auto Intro is designed to be mostly automatic/unattended, adding intros for any number of tracks. Probably it would be easier to define Auto Intro rules for each artist you have.
