A quick test on the latest version doesn't confirm this problem. Please note that the position will reset if the source folder/playlist changes e.g., you add or remove files there. Maybe this is the case?
It's your script so it can do whatever you create in there. About RadioBOSS, using the API you can add any files or commands into the playlist.
But if you create an ads manager you should probably generate playlists for each block, and scheduled events to start those playlists on time. Same as...

I'm not sure sending track titles from cart wall is a useful thing to do. Currently it looks like very situational and not something what many users will be benefit from, I'm sorry.
We have this feature planned for one of the future updates. However, when using many microphones, it's usually a good idea to have a mixer board and control those with physical sliders/buttons.

Mute is actually Mute Monitor - it only mutes the Monitor sound card and not the Main.
