When I schedule a weather update it throws an error:
Weather (tomorrow) update error: HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized
But then it updates the weather data for today anyway...
OK I see how it would start and interrupt the current track when “run scheduled launch without waiting for current track to finish” is selected. What is meant to happen when it is not selected?
Thanks you for adding the new "start earlier" option in the scheduler in v7.0.0.8 beta - this is a great feature! However, wouldn't it make sense to grey out the insert position options as these now appear to be over-ridden by this option. Its a little confusing at present...
Solved. In the new version I had a folder location allocated for all test files in my D drive. When I removed this, individual file types could again be added. There is no bug!
In v 7.0.0.7 Music Library FILE TYPE in database won't update setting to match value in track properties or tracktool. FILE TYPE values in database cannot be modified at all. In v 7.0.0.2 it works OK.
I see you also added the option on the UI to ignore DSP while recording. Can this please also be added to the scheduler command instance as all our recordings of programs for delayed replay are automated...?
I don't understand how this can happen. If you instruct it to save to
- there's no way for it to append date or any other information. There's no code in RadioBOSS that will do so. Looks like you have two different "streamarchive" commands that conflict with each other.
RadioBOSS marks voice...
The recording command is set by the scheduler to save files in the format PROGRAM.mp3 but if the writing error occurs (because the file somehow becomes locked) it saves PROGRAM.mp3 with 0kb and PROGRAM%y%m%d_%t.mp3 (with full data). So when the scheduler tries to play the program back later, it...
Were any improvements made to streamarchive feature? Occasionally I get random failure to record to a named file (sends me an email to say it had an error) - then it attempts to start again but saves in the default date format instead. This happens maybe once a month...
Can you check please: I inserted a VT which had the cross fade command to ignore the previous mix point but it failed to ignore it and music faded out under the voice. I couldn’t get it to work - could be a bug?
It would bring RadioBoss up to par with some of its competitors if aggregated artist information (e.g. Wikipedia) could appear in the browser frame automatically when a particular artist’s track is playing (or about to play). Can this be implemented as a new feature in the next version?
We had a multiple event setup to start a program then, when the program finished, it was meant to run a command to copy the program to a storage folder. During the program playout, a music playlist update took place and deleted the command! The scheduled playlist had the following setup:
