I was thinking about adding a system to update ads automatically.

The intention is to update the advertising on a specific date.

current advertising:
Supermarket

advertising update:
Supermarket 03\05\2024

The idea is to perform the file replacement automatically.

You can add two entries into the Ads list and set proper start/end days for them, to have one ad available on certain dates and then switch to another one on different dates.

When you add a file with the same name and format, the system performs an automatic replacement.

Not quite, your task looks like you need to run different ads on different dates, that's why that needs to be configured as separate ads with appropriate date settings.
