Best way to upgrade?

I currently have not used any upgrades yet, I was just enjoying the automation just the way I had it.

But somehow all the setting have changed and I need to start over.

I have upgrades available until 2015 

What is the best way to upgrade?  Should I deleted the old Radio Boss and Install the new?  And will it be easy to verify my licensee again with my original email?
