is it possible to have this nice feature in one of the next updates:

to start one of the saved and scheduled event's > option 'shuffle the playlist before inserting' is on >
new feature > it would be nice to have a possibility to define the first-track before shuffeled playlist starts (to play an intro) !?? 

if possible - it's magic !!!

Yes, it's possible but you'll need to use the Playlist Generator Pro for this:

1. Launch Pl Gen Pro (Playlist->Playlist Generator Pro) and create two categories
2. First category is the intro track(s) you would like to use, on General tab set duration = 1 Track, on Tracks tab select the track you would like to use.
3. Second category is the playlist you want to launch, on General tab set duration = "use all tracks from source" and on Tracks tab select the playlist you would like to launch, also select Track selection = Random.
4. Add categories to the Playlist structure and save a preset.

To generate playlist by schedule, in the event use the following command (assuming you've saved the preset under the "MyPreset" name):
generate [pro] MyPreset

it's really to long-winded !!!

the better way is to add 2 fields for select an intro- and outro track - in this case it's possible and EASY to add an intro- and outro track to EVERY possible event !!!

Well, this was one of the purposes why Playlist Generator Pro was created.

To make things easier:
- create a generic preset with intro/playlist/outro categories
- when you need to launch a playlist with intro, open this template and change track sources, save preset under another name

the better way is to add 2 fields for select an intro- and outro track - in this case it's possible and EASY to add an intro- and outro track to EVERY possible event !!!

This is not a very good idea actually, for at least two reasons:
1. The Event window already has too many controls and adding more features into it will make it even more complicated
2. This will lead to feature duplication. Intro/Outro can be already added using Pl Gen Pro. And we just add the same features one more time, but in another place.

If we add intro/outro as in your pic, the first thing people will ask for is to add the ability to get intro from a folder. The next thing will be to add a setting: choose random intro from folder or take them in order... and so on. Eventually we'll end up with a small subset of Pl Gen Pro features in the event window

When using Pl Gen Pro you have a lot of flexibility, and it already can do what you need (and even more).

A bit of good news if you still don't like/want to use Pl Gen Pro: in one of the next updates each scheduler event can launch several commands (or start multiple playlists/tracks) at once.
