How use automatic time announcements

To use time announcements:

1. Download voices, you can use the ones published here: http://www.djsoft.net/enu/download.htm
2. Extract downloaded archive contents
3. Click Playlist->Add time announcement... and select the folder where you extracted the archive.

When you use the Playlist->Add time announcement, it will be inserted into playlist and appear as a music track. When you play it, it will say time.

Another way is to run time announcements by scheduler: add a new event, click Wizard button and select "Automatic announcement", click Next, select "Time announcement".

Thanks :)

Would it not be practical if you always had a button where you can click on it and then the time will be announced?
I found this great :)

Greetings :)

The announcement time is too short, you can not hear anything, shame  :(
Please give more details on the issue. The time announcement just says "it's 10 o clock" or something like this.
You can try turning on "Overlay playback" option in the scheduler and adjust the "set music level" slider.

Good idea, I think it will be added in the future updates.

....The time announcement just says "it's 10 o clock"....
If now my tracks fade in and out 2 seconds, you can not hear "it's 10 o clock".

I think it would be ideal if it were so:
-2 seconds fade out the track
-Play the speaking clock
-2 seconds fade in the next track

Thanks  :)

By default Time Announcements have their own file type and crossfades are disabled for it, but it's still being mixed with previous track.

Check crossfade settings for the time announcement, it should be all zeros.
