Jingle issue

It is not a bug, but it is something... abnormal.

Abnormal is: play a lot of jingles successive.

Normal behaviour is: play only one jingle.

So:
  • Jingle should play at only one click (if I use double-click I have two starts of the same jingle);
  • If I play one jingle all the other should be inactive. Even that one which is playing have to become inactive until the jingle goes to the end or it is stoped.

I agree that it shuold protect from starting one jingle multiple times, as this makes little sense to do so on purpose - thanks for pointing out this issue, will be fixed in the next update.

Stopping all other jingles when you start a jingle is another question. There are use cases where one would like to play 2 or more jingles simultaneously, so this, at least, should be configurable. I'm not sure if it needs to be done, however, as Cart Wall has this already (the "Play one cart at a time" right-click option on the tab).

Dmitriy, can you give me an example for using two or more jingles? A Jingle contains a speach. If there are 2 jingles which plays simultaneously then will be difficult to hear.

Sometimes it's used this way: some of the jingles are music-only, and others are voice-only, so you can combine various music and voice jingles together. It's pretty rare, but I know of some stations that use it this way. RadioBOSS is designed to allow hassle-free updates, therefore we have to maintain this behavior for backwards compatibility.

I think that both of your suggestions will be implemented as they really make RadioBOSS better.

OK. We do not use it in that way, becouse the lack of control.
Those stations which use Jingles in that way better use VoiceTrack with Bed.
I know that you will do it in the right way to win all of us.

Yes, those improvements are scheduled for future updates, I also think the whole Jingles UI needs to be re-done.
