Like to put time in your schedule?

Using time in your schedule is nice feature to have while broadcasting on terrestrial radio station. To do it right though requires a bit of understanding of how to set it up properly. The following steps may help in issues like lost connection or unstable connection.

Lets say that you have a stream that starts at xx:59:54 before the top of the hour and the buffer is set up for thirteen seconds*. By the time the buffer is full it will start the audio at or a few seconds past the top of the hour.  Even though the audio has started,  the time will play using the overlay play feature in Radio Boss. It's important to place the time far enough past the top of the hour so as not to interrupt the buffer. So by placing the time feature five seconds past the top of the hour, will avoid the network errors.

* buffer size and machine may differ from stated so may have to experiment with the butter and the placing of time.

side note:  If you notice, the letters are in bold while the buffer is filling. Once the buffer is full, the letters will go back to the non-bold state.

We have plans on adding pre-loading of streams, so if the stream is going to be started soon, it will be prepared and then start exactly at the time specified. I'm not sure when this will be added, though...

Currently the only way is to start the stream in advance, especially if you have unreliable connection and large buffer sizes.

Can you please make a screenshot of the problem?
