The disk where .wav files are located has to have NTFS file system. Otherwise, due to WAV format restrictions, this will not work.

there is no solution ?
can we imagine solving the problem in a future version?
The only solution is to use the NTFS file system - this is the default file system for modern Windows operating systems, so this "requirement" is meant by default on almost all computers already.

If you already use NTFS file system, please send us one of the .wav files for which parameters do not save.

My disk is in NTFS ... (windows xp)
After many test this comes from the fact that the disk is networked ...

path :
\\Ns426291\data = probleme (disk networked)
Z:\ = probleme (disk networked)
C:\= Ok

(\\Ns426291\ and Z:\ = same network disk)

Test with the same sound wav ...

Do you see a solution for maintaining playback from the network drive ?

Cordially

If path to file does not change: the file is not renamed, moved, and the drive letter is constant (you always use Z: and not \\Ns426291\ or anything else in RadioBOSS) - in this case, you can enable storing additional information in database. Please see this page for more information: http://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/additional-information-storage.htm

Due to technical limitations, it's not possible to store additional track information for WAV files over a network drive.
