Query:
In RadioBoss Settings/Preferences/File Types; your help file states "RadioBOSS looks for an identifier in the tag area (name/author)"
"If an identifier is found, the file is marked with the corresponding color in the playlist."
There appears to be some ambiguity regarding (name/author).
Neither name or author appears in View/Information (F3) or TrackTool.
To ensure backward compatibility with ID3v1 tag info, would it be reasonable to have the aforementioned identifier in the "Comment" field of mp3's.
How this impacts on the use of linear.wav and .ogg files however, I haven't thought this far ahead.
Perhaps a precursor identifier such as #(identifier) could be used and then a search for # in any available field in either ID3v1 or 2 or ANY field (except Title or Artist) could work.
However, back to name/author, where are these fields actually found?
