On Demand & Spotify Podcasts Problem

I'm trying to add an on-demand & Spotify podcasts to Radioboss but i only get a message that it has been scheduled but never plays.
How do I fix this to play?

I'm not sure it will work. You can try adding the link directly to the playlist using the Playlist->Add URL menu to see if it plays.

this is really quite tricky and has taken me many months to work out
if you are looking at at website that has a player that plays ok in the browser, what you have to do is to find the actual feed URL that sources it
this can be difficult to find
sometimes it is possible to view the page source (this varies per browser) but even then and if you can view the sources, you then have to find the actual bit that "powers" the feed. this takes a lot of work and digging, it is NOT easy. AND takes a lot of trial and effort (a lot of effort) to find the right bit of the code that is "the sweet spot" that makes it work.
good luck. it has taken me months sometimes to try and find the "bit" that i need to make it work, but after that it works every time in RB

this is a typical screen that you will see when you view the page source

now your job is to try to work out where the bit is that is right bit that would work in radioboss, its like a needle in a haystack, sometimes its obvious, but mostly it is very well hidden, the page designers dont want you to find it

you are probably looking for something that contains the text RSS, or maybe mp3, or XML, or...
this is a TOUGH task

from wizard how do I perform this action? I only see add internet URL that doesn't work.
Can you please specify what does not work? You can add streams directly to the playlist using the Playlist->Add URL menu.

It is much easier using the "Network" tab, it shows all the resources that are loaded on the page (open network tab, click F5, start playback, sort resources by Size column). The ones with larger size are media resources, so it's fairly easy to locate where the music is being streamed from. Note that it's typically against the ToS to include stream from Spotify or similar services in your radio.

I get an error 41 for ABC newscast here, can it work?
This is a web page and can't be played, but luckily it has a podcast RSS link: https://feeds.megaphone.fm/ESP9792844572
Add it to RadioBOSS as network stream, and tick the "Podcast" checkbox. It will automatically load the latest news episode when played.
More info on this here: https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/stream_and_podcast_playback.htm

I found a few others if they can work as well...

You should look for RSS feed or direct stream link, RadioBOSS will be able to play it.

I found these..they seem to be direct RSS but don't seem to work.

none of these work for me either
RSS in itself doesn't necessarily mean they are AUDIO, they may just be providing a RSS text feed for a website

Correct. RadioBOSS plays podcasts that are stored as XML feed. Those have a standard form so it's able to find the most recent episode.
