playlist with the scheduler

I often generate my playlist with the scheduler.
What bothers me a bit, is that he then automatically starts to play the created playlist.
How can I turn this off so that the plaliste is inserted but is not played automatically

You can create two events: first will generate a playlist and save it to a file. Second event will start the generated playlist, adjust this event's options to make it only insert without playing immediately.

Looks like it works as expected. If not, you can always split events - use one to create and save playlist to a file, and another event to load it ("stop" can be inserted as first command to prevent auto playback).
