May I know what for are used all the channels? How many MIC's, how many phone callers, what audio etc., etc ? The radio station is only for internet broadcasting or mixed? There are a lot things to know. Becouse it is important to know how many AUX's the mixer to have. For example a mixer with USB is very good in some conditions. But I'll wait for your answer.

hi,
2 channels for microphones,
2 channels for cd player input
1 channel for phone

the phone channel will be added later.

the radio station is used for internet broadcasting.
i originally bought the numark m101 usb 2 channel mixer , and this did not work for broadcasting.
is radioboss user friendly with an external mixer.

Yes, RadioBOSS is very user friendly with an external mixer.
Check this video training.

You need two soundcard in PC. If you have a mixer with USB (I recommend) you will have another soundcard directly from the mixer.

We use Allen&Heath XB14 with USB.

Hello again,
i currently have just 1 Soundcard in my pc, if i bought an external soundcard like the picture i have attached.
Would this work as a second soundcard.
my current Numark M101 USB Mixer has a Two-channel rackmountable mixer with USB.
I tried for weeks but could not sync it with radioboss.

thanks

That USB soundcard is very good. I use one exactly like yours (Logiteck 7.1). I do not recommend Numark as mixer for RadioBOSS. It is used most by DJ's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Up54xiemkU). It is very, very limited.

thanks,
i will invest in the usb soundcard, would you happen to know what mixer is used in the RADIOboss tutorials.
And is there a link for all the radioboss tutorials.

hello once again,
thanks for all your assistance so far.
Can i get your expert opinion on this mixer. its comes with good reviews for radio broadcasting.
Behringer Xenxy X1204 USB Mixer

thanks

I have exactly the same console, it is a good option.
the main limitation is that it only will have two stereo inputs, the four remaining are mono (for microphone, telephone, etc.)

thanks,
i would be connecting 2 microphones, a cd system and a phone connection.
would it hold up, or do i need more channels
thanks

It has CD/Type IN too (RCA).

hello again,

i have researched this mixer called Behringer X1222 USB Xenyx 16 Channel Mixer.
There is little in price between this and the 12 channel mixer.
I just want to ask you again, would this mixer be good for broadcasting my internet radio station with RadioBoss.
thank you

It depends on your needs and preferences. Any mixer will work with RadioBOSS, which means you can choose any mixer you like. USB mixers are recommended because they provide an additional sound device.
