RadioBOSS and analog mixer

Hi all,

I am trying to use radioboss with internet radio.

I have tried configuring my analog mixer with radioboss.  The pc I am using has 1 soundcard only.

What I am trying to do is to use the soundcard output to go to one of the stereo inputs of the mixer where my mic is also plugged in. Then, the output of my mixer goes to the input of my soundcard.

Now, here is the issue, I hear 2 sounds (seems like echoing sound, one is delayed) when I press mic on radioboss.

Is there a way to have radioboss work like sam broadcaster where when you broadcast, I can only use the sound from my soundcard input instead of using both input and output? I know this option is also available in shoutcast DSP plugin in winamp.

Hoping for your help.

Thanks.

There are 2 ways to solve it:
1) Turn off microphone monitoring in the sound card settings. It depends on sound card how to do it...
2) In RadioBOSS, enter Settings->Microphone/Line.IN and switch MIC button to "Use Windows Mixer". But this will prevent RadioBOSS to apply effects to microphone or control its volume.

1. microphone monitoring has been disabled already.
2. Tried it and ended up no sound output.

Additional questions:
-How will I be able to change the Broadcast details, i.e. Name, description, url, etc, in each tab.  I tried editing in one tab but it changes all the other broadcast tabs.  I need to have different since I am broadcasting low and high quality with different descriptions.  Also, I am simulcast broadcast to a different website.

-Why is it that when I checked the shoutcast server page, the stream url has a wrong format? Instead of http://www.mywebsite.com it is http://myshoutcastserver.com/www.mywebsite.com so when I click it it gives me error opening page.

Thanks again.

1) When you speak to microphone while MIC button is not pressed in RadioBOSS, do you hear it? If not, and you still have echo, then I don't know what could it be... Maybe Echo FX is added to mic in the sound card control panel?
2) It works only for Windows XP.

Broadcasting details are changed in the encoder settings: go to "Station Info" tab, check the "Override global station info" box and enter all details.
Global station info is info entered below "Encoders" list. This info is used for all encoders which don't have the "Override global station info" option checked.

If you entered "www.mywebsite.com" as URL, try using "http://www.mywebsite.com" instead.
