RadioBoss Scheduler Wizard - Play from folder

We have a challange with the play from folder feature.
RadioBoss plays the files randomly.
Our folder looks like this:
A - File 1.mp3
B - File 2.mp3
C - File 3.mp3
D - ....

RadioBoss plays these files randomly...

Like this:
D, A , B ....

Is there a way to play the files in a folder in correct order?

In the window where you select track source, change the way how tracks are selected from Random (default) to In order.

This option only plays one file.
We need to play the files in correct order:
A, B, C

Now it looks like RadiBoss takes the date as a sorting method.

Any suggestions?

The attached image show our files.
This plays in this order:A,C,E,G,B,D

That looks like modified date order. Any way to change this to alphabetical.

Yes, the 'add all tracks from folder" shuffles the list and currently there's no way to turn it off.

You can use Playlist Generator Pro to achieve what you need:
1. Start Playlist Generator Pro (from the Playlist menu)
2. Create a category (click "+")
- on General tab select Duration - Use all tracks from source
- on Tracks tab select the folder from where you want to add tracks and in the bottom select "In order".
- click OK.
3. Add this category to Playlist Structure and save preset (button located in the top).
4. In the scheduler event, click Wizard, select "Perform an action", click Next, select Generate Playlist and choost the preset you've created.

The order changed to G,D,C,A,B

Why. This is not logical.

I have followed your instructions, but not with the results expected!

Is there any settings in the program/windows that can affect the order?

That's odd. I tried the same setup with files named like yours and it resulted in an alphabetical order: A, B, C, ...
I added this as a bug, we'll check it and it will be fixed in the upcoming RB 4.9.

By the way what RadioBOSS version are you using now?

We are using 4.9Beta, because of the Ad Scheduler.
Windows 2008 Server Edition, because of stability.

All right. The next 4.9 beta update will include a fix for incorrect file order in Playlist Generator Pro.

We have tested With Windows 7 and RadioBoss 4.8.3.
The files came in this order:  G,D,C,A,B

I have found Our problem.
1. The files are located on a NAS drive and mapped to a station on the computer .
M:\ Equals \\192.168.1.x\music
2. I moved the files to the computer and they played in correct order...

Why the difference?
Any solution to this?
We have 3TB With Music and audio files on Our Network Attached Storage.

File order for "In order" option in PlGenPro depends on file system. On Windows (NTFS) file list is alphabetically sorted, but that doesn't happen on NAS drives - they use Unix-like systems inside and they work in a different way.

Today an update for RB 4.9 beta will be released and it will have files sorted in the correct order.

I'm also having a problem with the Scheduler Wizard - Play from folder choice. 

If I run the wizard from within the event scheduler, everything works fine when it comes time to play the event.  If I run the wizard from the Playlist "add command" and add it to my current playlist, it will not play anything........Hmmm.  Any clue?  Other things play just fine in the playlist.

Looks like a bug. Will be fixed in the next RB 4.9 update.
