Make sure the settings are correct (you can post a screenshot here) - we've tested it on Windows 8 and it worked as it should... Also try reinstalling it.nelson c said:Hello, RadioLogger not work on windows 8.
No record is written to disk.
In the Archive tab are supposedly recorded files, but can not play, and when preciono "Open Folder" take me to the directory, but there is nothing there.
Currently there's no way to disable deleting the records - in the next version you'll be able to turn this feature off.nelson c said:Thank delete the profile folder and it works.
A query if I want RadioLogger not delete old records I use "0"?

Are you using the latest versions of RC and RL? I've just tried on Windows 8.1 - restarting while those programs are running, and settings were kept.nelson c said:Hello, RadioLogger RadioCaster and lose the default board to restart the pc without closing these programs.
Then when you start you have to reconfigure.
You can improve this?
Both RadioCaster and RadioLogger create a backup of their settings files, so even if you hard-reset your PC (e.g. by cycling power) and main config files become corrupted, it should restore the settings from the backup.nelson c said:yeah, I'm using the latest versions.
Strange, it does not happen every time.
but when this error appears is very annoying.
maybe is problem of drivers?, you do not seem to be very good ...
That could be. You can try removing it and see if the problem still exists.nelson c said:yes, AVG free.
That will be the problem?
As a temporary workaround, you can add a scheduled event which will open Windows Explorer, Z: drive:nelson c said:Regarding the network problem that commented above.
There is nothing to do about it?
Our list of daily reproduction is loaded every day at 12 hours from a from a network drive.
SI radioboss can not connect the network drive, the radio goes quiet!.
until I find out a notification by email that the silence detector is active.
and then reconnected the network drives, doing it manually:
Computer-> "Z:"
It's a pretty serious problem.
In which previous version does it work correctly?nelson c said:Another issue:
There is a bug in 5.1.1 RB playing streaming:
txt in the "nowplaying" the names of the songs streaming is not saved (always says "network stream").
We went back to a previous version until the problem is fixed.
Ok thanks, that helps a lot, for now.djsoft said:As a temporary workaround, you can add a scheduled event which will open Windows Explorer, Z: drive:nelson c said:Regarding the network problem that commented above.

run explorer.exe N:
Call this command from time to time e.g. 1-2 times a day. The problem here is that you'll have lots of Explorer windows open, but at least your network drive will stay accessible.
Currently we're investigating on this issue but we were unable to reproduce this problem yet.
In RB 5.0.3.2 , metadata is written to the txt properly. In which previous version does it work correctly?nelson c said:Another issue:

I don't think it's required for now - I'll let you know if more information on the issue is required.nelson c said:Ok thanks, that helps a lot, for now.
If you wish we can make a remote access
OK, thank you for the information. I'll add it as a bug.nelson c said:In RB 5.0.3.2 , metadata is written to the txt properly.
While checking on this issue, it turned out that it's not a bug. It will show you the "Network Stream" title if you have the "Hide stream URL during playback" option activated in Settings->View.nelson c said:Another issue:

It will behave like this only if you have the "Hide stream URL during playback" option activated.nelson c said:So it was, but the problem was that the actual song was not shown in the txt
Always said "network stream"
Do you mean it works now?nelson c said:It's strange but it probe several times and does not work.
Now I did back and works well
