recording and playing back satelitte network radio shows

does radio boss allow you to automatically record and playback satellite radio shows?

I'm afraid it's not possible right now using the program's features.

There's one option... Scheduler can run external programs, so if you have a program which will record a show, you can use it.

This feature can be easily added to RB I'm just not sure how many people will need this.

I am in need of this feature, just not with satellite. I need it to record the playlist from a certain time to a certain time automatically. Then to play it back automatically.

You can use Stream Archive feature to do it.

To start recording:
Click Tools->Stream Archive, select the folder/file name where you want to save the show, check "Save stream to a file", click OK. Now it will record everything what's played in RB.

To stop recording:
Click Tools->Stream Archive, uncheck "Save stream to a file" and click OK.

Yes, this will be added in the next beta version update.
The commands would be like this:
streamarchive on
streamarchive off
streamarchive split

It's not there yet, but it's already implemented and will be in RB 4.8.0.6 for sure.
