On shows that have been playlisted in RadioBOSS and then “Rendered to a File”, the individual track names start showing up in the progress bar on RadioBOSS for the first few minutes of the show. This also updates RDS on car radios via our mechanisms pushing the track title.
About 20 minutes into the “rendered” file on-air, the progress bar “stalls” on a particular track name and doesn’t update it for the rest of the show, so RDS continues to show the name of a track that was played earlier.
To reproduce:
- Create a playlist of an hour worth of audio, then render to file
- Play the file for at least 20 minutes, and notice when it should change, e.g. a new music song being played
