Start/End date

In the Track tool, when setting the Start/End date, if only the start date is set (without an end date), the song still immediately enters the program rotation. It only gets played within the defined dates once the end date is also set.
We occasionally receive songs that, for example, have their premiere in 5 days. In that case, I set the Start date. I suggest that if no End date is set, the track should remain active indefinitely - specifically for situations like this. I believe many radio stations receive songs in advance with a request to play them only from the premiere date.
Related to that, I also suggest adding Start and End date columns in the Playlist, just like in the Music Library.

Dates only take effect if both start and end dates are defined.

This feature exists to add seasonal songs (e.g. Christmas) - it doesn't have a year setting (only month and date). It wouldn't be possible to make it work as you request, without a major rework of the feature, I'm sorry.

I totally agree with you, and this is a very useful thing and something I have already asked for some time ago.

Sometimes I receive new songs on Monday and Tuesday to prepare the Friday programming (music is made/released on Fridays here).

So I would always like to get ahead of the game and put the songs in rotation - categories, and then the software automatically "activates" them following ONLY the starting date.

Can you do a similar function, please?
it's VERY useful for radios.

(at the moment I set the starting date that interests me and a completely random end date, very far away, so that the song always remains valid. Then I have to remember (once the trade embargo has expired) to delete the dates set.)

We'll consider it for the next major update, but for now I can't tell for sure if it'll be added. To make it work a new field will have to be added - Year, when this is set, the end date will be ignored and the full start date will be used as track's starting date.
