Technophobe! Weather and song requests

Hello all.
I'm new to RadioBoss, and I am totally, TOTALLY, useless with programme speak.  :

I would like to set up weather announcements, and the song request function, but I really don't understand the descriptions.

Is anyone out there able to put it into simplistic terms? or is there an instruction video?

I guess not on both occasions, but if you don't ask.....
