Downloaded radio show's with separate segment files

At the station I work at we receive shows each week that have multiple segments, is there a way to set these setup to find the newest of each segment by date?

For example;
Show_name-010118-1
Show_name-010118-2

Could this be done as a setup in the scheduler as an event like downloading podcasts?

We do this by downloading them to the same filename each week (ShowName_SEG01, ShowName_SEG02) etc. We don't care about previous episodes, but if we wanted to we could copy the existing file to an archive location before downloading the new one.

Do you use the download command to download those files?

There's a scheduler feature to select the newest file from the folder (it checks creation date): in the Wizard select "Play one track from playlist or folder", then "Select one track  from playlist or folder" and configure the settings as needed.
