How do you use the assigned Jingle buttons

I thought about using them for some sound affects. I will soon be running a call in show and I was going to use a toilet flushing if someone started being profane on my station.
But I wanted to ask how you use them to get a better idea of how to use them right.

The jingles are fairly simple feature, you assign tracks and then can play them by pressing 1-9 keys on the keyboard or using the buttons on the toolbar.
