Transition from played music to the following show opener

Hello,

To announce a show, we play a show opener at the beginning of the program.

It can happen that the spoken opener has already started, but the preceding song hasn't quite finished, meaning that one or two words of the following opener are not entirely clear.

Question: Is there a setting in the scheduler to prevent this overlap (music/speech)?

Yes, you can define the File Type for openers: https://www.radioboss.fm/support/radioboss-cloud/using-file-types/

The in Settings > Crossfades adjust its crossfade options. To prevent overlapping with the previous song, set "Override preceding track mix point" to zero or very low value. You may also want to reduce/remove fade in and fade out.

Correctness depends on what end result you want to achieve. You should listen to your radio and check if it sounds how you want it to be.
