We are looking for a solution to the following problem.
In our daily schedule, we have six hours of rebroadcasting from a specific Internet radio station. During this period, advertisements from our own radio station are inserted every 30 minutes, with the "Run Without Waiting" option enabled for each advertisement event. This allows us to interrupt the rebroadcast, after which the rebroadcast resumes once the advertisements have finished.
Once the six-hour rebroadcast period ends, our regular daily music programming starts, including advertisements, but without the "Run Without Waiting" option enabled for the advertisement events.
However, when we add new advertisements and perform an hourly update, with "Create Event Automatically Update Ads" enabled, the "Run Without Waiting" setting is removed from the advertisement events within the six-hour rebroadcast schedule.
If we disable the hourly "Update Ads" option under "Create Playlist and Events" in the Ads Scheduler, the daily advertising schedule is no longer updated correctly whenever a new advertisement is added. As a result, each new advertisement may either not play at all or play continuously.
Is there a way to prevent the advertisement event settings from being overwritten during the six-hour rebroadcast period?
In other words, what we would like is the following:
During the six-hour rebroadcast of the other radio station, the advertisements should be inserted without the "Run Without Waiting" option being removed/overridden, so that they can interrupt the rebroadcast as intended. For the rest of the day's programming, the advertising schedule should continue to work normally, exactly as it does now.
Is there a way to configure the Ads Scheduler or the automatic advertisement update process to achieve this behavior without losing the event settings during the six-hour rebroadcast or doing something else beyond ads scheduler mode?
Thanks in advance
