I'm having a problem creating teasers when I select 'up coming tracks' as my source. I constantly receive the error code 902 (too few upcoming tracks) - and the teaser ends up blank -yet my playlists will typically have more than 20 songs. When I select a music folder has my source I don't get this problem. What could be the cause of this and how do I rectify it?

Settings used:

Tracks - > Coming up next (selected)
Max tracks to look ahead - > 3
Track count - > 3 - > shuffle tracks (selected)
AutoHook for tracks without hook points-> (selected)

Still I get the error code 902

Max tracks to look ahead - > 3
Track count - > 3 - > shuffle tracks (selected)
In this case, it only checks the three following tracks, and if some of them can't be used for a teaser (e.g. it's a jingle, or command or something else) you will see the error.
I think to resolve this error, you should make it look ahead a bit far, e.g. 10 tracks.

I've tried that. I get the same error unfortunately. I have the latest version of radioboss installed.

Even when I insert the teaser in a playlist with 585 songs with no jingles or commands, I still get the same error

In the Teaser window click the Settings button and check what tracks are excluded. There are filters by duration and it can also exclude file types, maybe those are configured i such a way that no tracks can be selected.

Turns out that's where the problem was. Adjusted accordingly. Now its working. Many thanks for your help!

RadioBoss 7.1.1.4
I've had a similar problem with Taser for some time now. During automatic playback, Taser is skipped. However, when I turn it on manually, it works correctly. As in the attachment. The settings are correct... I think.

The cause of the problem is pretty clear from the error message: it doesn't have enough music tracks to build a teaser. In your Teaser settings, it needs 3 music tracks, and only looks ahead 3 tracks. If one of those tracks is a jingle or time announcement or something's that's not music, it will not have enough music tracks and show you an error.

I made a playlist of just the songs and the problem is the same. During playback it skips the Taser and goes to the next song. But when I manually turn on the Taser with the mouse then it works normally. I made a video showing it but the forum is too big.

I've actually found you have to allow more than you need in the coming up tracks window to make it work, for example if you want it to look at the next five songs, you actually need to count the files you don't want to include e.g. IDS in the count so it can count the exact number of songs you'd like in the teaser.
