Insert playlist with cart wall/drag and drop from file explorer.

Hey team, is there any way of inserting a playlist within the playlist window via cart or drag and drop?

Currently the cart loads a playlist but it wipes everything that was already there instead of adding it below. If we drag the cart into the playlist window it appears as a command which only expands once it “plays” the item, but again, it deletes everything else.

Same behaviour occurs when dragging a playlist into the playlist window from File Explorer.

Let me know if there’s any option!

Maybe a right click, “expand playlist” option?

What is the cart's action? If it does load C:\path\to\playlist.m3u8 then it would replace the playlist contents (equivalent to using the Open... command).

Simplest way is to add playlist references to the AUX playlist tab. First, add necessary playlist items in one of the main tabs using Playlist > Insert playlist command. Playlists will be inserted as single playlist items like "(Playlist) PlaylistName" then you can move those items to the AUX playlist tab for quick access (drag by the track icon).

When you drag one of those items back to the main playlist, it will appear as a single item, that will open up on playback, or you can open it manually by right-clicking it and select Expand Playlist command. It will keep the current playlist contents.
