Hi,
We're experimenting using the rotators for scheduling our many show promos so they all get more equal air time and so we don't have to manually place the 50 odd promos manually, but would like to see an option added to block a track from being scheduled during it's own show time.
For example, we have a promo for the show 2pm - 4pm on Mondays. We'd like to be able to disable scheduling/playback for that promo/track during that time, so that it doesn't air while the current show is on, as that would make no sense to the listener.
Maybe it's an option that can be added within the track tool, as part of the start/end dates popup? Basically be able to set active/inactive times in a week. Similar to the Ad properties window looks like. It could be set to all hours checked by default, then removed during the hours we want it not the play/be able to be scheduled. I think hours is enough of a window, minutes would be way too complicated. For the above example, we could uncheck the Monday 2pm and 3pm hours.
The reason it would be handy to do per track is because then we can still use the rotator, and have it schedule something else if it goes to schedule an inactive promo for a block which clashes with the inactive time - It would just pick something else.
Does this make sense? I'm sure added functionality for disable/enable playback could assist others too.
