Dmitry,
We use:
1. Vortexbox software for music library storage
2. BLISS software loaded on the Vortexbox for mass corrections to artist and album names, folders, files, meta-tags etc.
3. mp3tag for alterations and corrections done manually in large quantities
4. RadioBOSS meta-tag editor for alterations and corrections done in small quantities
On Friday I noticed about 50 music tracks that had the artist names and track titles reversed - so instead of using mp3tag I used the RadioBOSS meta-tag editor instead.
Afterwards I ran BLISS again to double check that there were no remaining errors and it came up with about 50 errors.
I then logged in with mp3tag and noticed that at least two fields were empty for all 50 of the files I had corrected with RadioBOSS meta-tag editor.
They were:
1. Album artist
2. Track number
I fixed all 50 errors with mp3tag, ran BLISS again and everything was okay.
So I'm pretty sure RadioBOSS caused those errors.
Thanks, Jamie C.
