Duplicate tracks in playlist

When using the Show Duplicate tracks option in the playlist, is RB reading the file name or metadata? I've had duplicate tracks with the same exact song file name and metadata that were from difference music folders that aren't being recognize as duplicates. Only when the duplicate songs came from the same folder did it recognize them.

It only checks full file names, including the path. If the same file exists in different folders, it's not considered as a duplicate.

Same file name in the same folder also insert into stream playlist and it play twice. RB didn't show any "duplicate" warning. How to solve this.?
