Feature Request: Region-Specific Ads in Multiple Streams for DAB Radio

Dear DJSoft Team,

We're a DAB radio station in Italy (Stereo 98 DAB+) and we currently manage multiple streaming outputs for different regions. During ad breaks, we need the ability to play distinct ad sets per stream (e.g., region-specific commercials) to comply with local advertising requirements.

Is it possible to implement this in the next version of RadioBOSS? Specifically, a feature in the Advertisement Scheduler or streaming setup that allows assigning different ad playlists or rotations to individual streams simultaneously.

If this is feasible for a future update, we'd greatly appreciate it. Alternatively, do you have any current workarounds or recommendations (like running multiple instances)?

It's already possible using the existing features. You run a "master" RadioBOSS that will play music and all other content that is common for all regions. Then you have a number of "secondary" instances, one per region, that will relay the main stream but insert their own ads when needed.

In the events you will need to enable "Overlay" and "Priority over the relay" options.

If ads are not run at a fixed time, you may use the DTMF detection feature to start the events: https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/starting_events_by_dtmf_signal.htm

And have the master RadioBOSS issue DTMF signals via menu: Playlist > Extra > Add DTMF tone generator.
