Few things on latest RB version

Hey guys, just a few things the team and I have noticed after finally upgrading to the latest RB version. Trust some of these requests are out of scope, but we would happily pay for an upgrade to get these additional features as they would help us dramatically.

1 - It would be great to be able to resize the settings window to allow everything to breathe better and not be cut off. Everything is really squished on a 1920x1080p screen with a slightly larger font size.

2 - Every column seems to have a different alignment.. It would be nice to be able to set centre/left/right per column. Looks a bit odd at the moment

3 - Search list items spacing requires a restart instead, however doesn't prompt. All the others don't require spacing.

4 - There are really unusable - could we not have a slider? Usually we're making presice adjustments and we need to click 30 times to get it zoomed in. Similar to the segue editor

5 - It would be great if we could have multiple points in the segue editor. It would make such a huge difference. Even just one.

6 - Could we add a feature that constantly monitors a folder for new files and updates the library the moment a file is added? I guess I could create a Scheduler event which scans every 10 seconds, but I'm sure that would take up lots of resources. Reason being, we often have people loading files into the library from another device on the network, and we'd like to lock it down so they can't use the file explorer, but only use the music library. Much less risk for us.

7 - Could the tabs expand to the space they've got available to them. So instead of them being so small in width, they could extend to fill the blank space to the right.

8 - I'd love the playlist icon to change when a segue has been applied to a track.

9 - Be able to set a cart to play the hook of a song instead of the song from the start.

10 - Better voice track edit options. Select a region, and delete. Cut left/right is not enough unfortunately. Down the track it would also be great to have multi track recording function too.

11 - Have a re-load cart button. Instead of load and the file explorer popup.

12 - It would also be great to lock vertain cart wall tabs so they can't be loaded/saved - maybe a UAC permisson to lock/unlock tabs.

13 - Be able to schedule a playlist file in Ad Scheduler.

14 - Ctrl + Z/undo button to undo moving a track in the playlist.

15 - Forgot to mention, bug - when loading a card wall, it changes the font of the cart wall? Until you go in settings and set the cart wall font again.

You should not increase the font size, as it only changes the font size, but not controls/windows sizes, so as on your screenshot, the text will be cut off. Instead, use zooming options: main and secondary window zoom.

Button columns are centered, most number columns are aligned to the right, and text to the left. Are there any specific columns that you find looking odd?

We'll check it.

The main zooming option is using the mouse wheel, have you tried it? Also those buttons are accessible via the hot keys (+ and -).

5 - It would be great if we could have multiple points in the segue editor. It would make such a huge difference. Even just one.
This feature is on our to-do list, will be added in one of the future updates.

Auto scanning periodically will work, not every 10 seconds but once every minute is OK. Monitoring the folder is not reliable, and in many cases it wouldn't detect changes anyway.

The tabs have a maximum width so that they don't become too wide. This is a standard behavior for such controls, e.g., web browsers also do not expand them to full width. Is there a case where a wider tabs would be needed?

8 - I'd love the playlist icon to change when a segue has been applied to a track.
There's a separate column that shows tracks with custom crossfade applied. The icon already has many uses (track state, file type icon, etc.)

9 - Be able to set a cart to play the hook of a song instead of the song from the start.
This is planned for the future updates.

10 - Better voice track edit options. Select a region, and delete. Cut left/right is not enough unfortunately. Down the track it would also be great to have multi track recording function too.

11 - Have a re-load cart button. Instead of load and the file explorer popup.
What is the point of reloading it? In case the file on the disk changes?

12 - It would also be great to lock vertain cart wall tabs so they can't be loaded/saved - maybe a UAC permisson to lock/unlock tabs.
Currently UAC can lock down all cart wall tabs, and then you can exclude some of the tabs from this - right click a tab and check the No UAC option.

13 - Be able to schedule a playlist file in Ad Scheduler.
It's designed to manage single ads, and I don't think it will change any time soon. You can render the playlist to a single file using RadioBOSS and then use it in the ads scheduler.

14 - Ctrl + Z/undo button to undo moving a track in the playlist.
Due to how the move is implemented, I don't think this is possible presently.

15 - Forgot to mention, bug - when loading a card wall, it changes the font of the cart wall? Until you go in settings and set the cart wall font again.
We'll check it, thank you.

Yes, these set of columns look a bit odd...

We've found this not to be reliable as any file with a mix point defined flags as segue edited. However, I only want to see where a custom segue has been applied using the tool, and saving it.

Yes - we have multiple studios who make changes - it would be very handy.

That's how we currently do it, however it's quite time consuming.

Is there a case where a wider tabs would be needed?
Mainly to allow longer tab titles to show.

The main zooming option is using the mouse wheel, have you tried it? Also those buttons are accessible via the hot keys (+ and -).
Good to know, however for consistency it could be handy to add. The segue editor has this feature.

Overall - thank you! Looking forward to it.
