Fixed custom name and image in metadata during live broadcasts

Good morning everyone,

As I believe it is not yet implemented in RadioBOSS (I haven't been able to achieve it), it would be beneficial (at least for our web radio) to have the ability to continuously transmit to the Icecast server only the metadata containing the DJ's name and the show's image, regardless of the file type being played in the playlist, specifically during live broadcasts by various DJs.

You can set a fixed title to send to the server in broadcasting settings: https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/metadata.htm

If you run shows via the scheduled events, you can use the Send task name instead of track titles to server option to make it send show's name.

When a DJ connects to Icecast, RadioBOSS will still need to "play" that stream from Icecast - you can use the scheduled event for this, to also override the title.

Hello! I'm not sure if it's a misunderstanding on my part, but you're talking about a DJ connecting to Icecast and RadioBOSS needing to play the stream from Icecast... Hmmm... The way I see it, the DJ connects to the Icecast server via RadioBOSS and sends the stream to it. I apologise, but I don't quite follow your answer then.

Okay, and I also don't understand how event management works if a broadcast is live...
