Hello
Well done on a great product, and your level of service is fantastic.
I wonder if you can assist. I am having some trouble understanding the Playlist generator and Scheduling.

All of my Audio is pre-recorded, and nothing is live. I would like to make up daily Schedules, programmed in advance.

How would I Schedule;  Music, Dj Links, Jingles, advertisements?, promo?s.
My Music library is made up of 11 different Genres of music, e.g. pop 60?s, pop 90?s, instrumental, ballad 80?s.
So the first Question is  1) How do I schedule 8 hours of music, with 60% pop 00?s and 20 % pop 90?s and 10% pop 80?s and 10% pop 70?s.

2nd Question    2) into this schedule I would like to add, Station ID?s every 5 songs, and Dj links every 2 songs.

3rd Question  3) into this I would like to ad commercials, about 20 per hour.( 4 ad breaks of 5 ads each)

Thanking you in advance.

1) This is not yet possibe with current version of Playlist Generator, but now we're testing a new [rogram Playlist Generator Pro with many new features.
2) This is done in the playlist generator on steps 3 and 4, you should create playlists with station and DJ id's first.
3) You can use the "generate" command, and also create a playlist generator presets for each set of commercials. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Great thank you.

When do you think your new "Playlist Generator Pro" software will be available?
Will this be an update or a separate programe?
Regards

It's a separate program, but it'll work together with RadioBOSS. I'm not sure about the release date, but it'll be this summer :)

Great, looking forward to the betas.
Just two points I would like to bring to your attention.
1. Would it be possible to have a clock on the main Player window to show "The total Playing time left". e.g. on the playlist window roxette is showing 16.19 and the last advert is 16.58. ( So the total playing time would be 57mins.
This would be great if I could see this, because I schedual at different times of the day, for the following day, and the time is always the current time. So if I could see the time left it would make life very easy, because the schedual starts at 8am the following day, so this way I can see exactly the time I have scheduled.
2) Also could you include a new field in the main window i.e. start time, title, time, filename, intro, outro. If this could be Genre or the comment field info from the music library it really would help with music scheduling, eg I would not play 2 slow songs together, or 2 top 40 songs.

Regards

So will this seperate program be part of an update? or we will ahve to buy it.

Yes, you'll have to buy it (RadioBOSS users will have a discount of about 30%). But I'm not sure when exactly this program be released.

Hi
Can you please explain and give an example of how to use the Generate command from the answer above
" You can use the "generate" command, and also create a playlist generator presets for each set of commercials. Please let me know if you have any questions."

Regards

First, you need to create a preset in the playlist generator: http://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/generating_a_playlist.htm

Then, add new scheduler task, click the "Wizard" button (picture 1), in the window appeared select "Execute command", click "Next". Select "Generate playlist" and select the preset you created in the drop-down list (picture 2). Click "Finish".
