If you run your own server, you can use sc_trans: while RadioBOSS is being updated (and not broadcasting), users stay connected and sc_trans plays music for them. All this requires some configuration and reading docs about sc_transdjwolf said:
Another option is to can use RadioCaster instead of intagrated RadioBOSS broadcasting feature. This will allow you to shut down radioboss without listeners disconnect.
But I wouldn't care about it. RB updates are usually released every 1-3 months... It's not that often, so update can be performed at night when there are not too much listeners.
