How To Use RadioBoss Desktop with VPS?

RadioBoss Newbie Here:
I'm a Mac user, currently running a trial version of the RadioBoss desktop version on a new Windows Desktop VPS. I use Microsoft Remote Desktop on my Mac to log in to the VPS.

1) Once I buy the license and launch the station, do I have to keep the Microsoft Remote Desktop open once the station has started playing in automation mode on the VPS?
Specs on the VPS are below.

Express Windows Desktop VPS

• 4GB RAM
• 2 CPU Cores
• 60GB SSD Disk Space
• 100Mbps Unmetered Bandwidth
• Windows 10/11 Evaluation

2) The Windows 10/11 Evaluation expires in 90 days, and I'm only using the VPS for RadioBoss. Do I need a Windows license to run RadioBoss on the VPS?

My ultimate goal is to be able to remote into the server, start the station, and then close the Microsoft Remote Desktop so I can use my Mac M1 at will.
