Hello Dimitry, how are you?

I am writing to you some improvements for the protection rules, which can also be introduced in PGP.

1 - breakable and unbreakable rule.
This configuration would be useful to avoid errors in the system.
The goal is to avoid this error:
"WARNING! Unable to find suitable track; selecting a random track"

unbreakable: the system is strictly guided by the indicated rule and generates the error.

"WARNING! Unable to find suitable track; selecting a random track"

breakable: if the system is not capable of complying with the rule, it looks for the best option and does not generate the error.

2- that the rules are automatically configurable at different times of the day.
add the "schedules" option

With this option we could have different rules during the day.

For example:
00:00 to 09:00: rules 1.
09:00 to 12:00: rules 2.
12:00 to 13:00: rules 3.
13:00 to 19:00: rules 4.
19:00 to 21:00: rules 5.
21:00 to 00:00: rules 6.

For the moment, daily rules could be added and later from Monday to Sunday.

Greetings, Dimitri.

breakable: if the system is not capable of complying with the rule, it looks for the best option and does not generate the error.
We thought about it, but the idea is very questionable. This will merely mask the problem and lower the quality of the created playlists. The best and recommended approach to avoid this is to make repeat protection rules less strict. Or add more music.
There's repeat protection rules testing utility in the Music Library. You can try different options, and for production, use some safety margin like 30% (that is, if tool shows for some rule that 3 hour repeat period is OK, use 2 hours in production).

2- that the rules are automatically configurable at different times of the day.
This is already possible with the Playlist Generator - you can have different presets with different settings. For Track List, this will also be added as well - each Track List will have an option to override general repeat protection settings.
