I have been testing a small web project that displays live synchronized lyrics based on the current RadioBOSS playback position.
The player currently shows:
I attached a short demo video, a screenshot, and both the WordPress and standalone test versions.
Both versions are still free test builds, so feedback, bug reports and suggestions are welcome.
I mainly built this because I had not seen synchronized lyrics used together with a RadioBOSS-driven web player before, and I thought it could be a nice extra feature for internet radio websites.
The player currently shows:
- Now Playing
- Coming Up Next
- song progress
- synchronized scrolling lyrics
- fallback when no lyrics are available
- local caching for already found lyrics
- automatic handling of news, weather, jingles and teaser events
