'Main' Device init error: No description (-2)

Ever since ive updated to the latest Windows 10 Anniversary update i've been getting this error even though everything was perfect before.

And now im getting this error "Input device error: No input device selected: 23 (wrong device selected, please check settings)" But everything was perfect 2 days ago as ive mentioned before

It appears that after updating Windows, internal driver ID's were changed and RadioBOSS is unable to find the sound cards that you were using.

In order to fix this, please select the correct devices for
1. Main Sound Card: http://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/playback.htm
2. Input device: http://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/microphone___line-in.htm

After i re-configured the Playback settings i've started to get this error "Input device error: No input device selected: 23 (wrong device selected, please check settings)" but the Input settings is all fine as when i select Line.1 then Direct Sound i dont even see any of my connected devices unlike in Playback settings. But still, it was all working before the update with the same thing :/

And thats what i get when i follow the Manual for 'Input' "Input device error: No input device selected: 5 (invalid handle)"

The error code for the input device means what is actually happens: no input device is selected.

I suggest you to try WASAPI instead of DirectSound. Also make sure you have input devices enabled in the Sound control panel applet in Windows (you can click the "Sound Properties" button in RadioBOSS Input settings to open it).

Changed to WASAPI now everything is fine and all, but when i broadcast no sound is being streamed

Do you hear the sound in your speakers? If so, please check what audio source do you have selected for broadcasting encoders, in Settings->Broadcasting, make sure the "Audio mix" is selected.

Putting the audio source to Mixed got everything working like a charm! Pasiba Dmitry
